Hence "mAlice & Monsters" was born. The name is a reference to an Alice Cooper album "Mascara and Monsters", with a little twist to reinforce just who it is we are paying homage to! We wanted a name that better reflected the show itself and also felt it important to develop a separate web presence from GAMUT... ***GAMUT ALONE OR 2 SHOWS IN 1*** WE TAKE PRIDE IN GIVING OUR AUDIENCE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS...FIRST OFF, A THEATRICAL ROCK SHOW TRIBUTE TO THE KING OF SHOCK ROCK, ALICE COOPER...THEN CONTINUE THE NIGHT AS GAMUT COMES OUT TO PLAY YOU SOME GREAT TUNES, TO DANCE THE REST OF THE NIGHT AWAY... ![]() A veteran of the Ottawa rock band circuit, Brian is excited to be returning to play with Gamut and mAlice & Monsters. Playing guitar for more years than he wants to say, or can remember, Brian provides solid rhythm and lead through an assortment of guitars. Like most guitarists, Brian supports "tone rules" through his Strat, Les Paul, SG or the double necked monster, all pumped through his Fender Deville and Marshall amps. Learning he craft, Brian's influences include Joe Walsh, Steve Perry, Jimmy Page, Tommy Shaw, Michael Bruce and Glen Buxton (Alice Cooper Band), Neil Schon, Martin Barre, Clapton and the great Steve Vai. |
